All Saints Church, Stanton on the Wolds

All Saints StantonStanton on the Wolds Parish Church is a small, friendly, welcoming church on the edge of the local golf course and surrounded by fields.  It is small, seating about 50 and very simple in style.  A wide variety of people come to our services with a high proportion being of retirement age and relatively few young people. Events and services can be seen on the benefice calendar. Though we are fairly informal, the Choir is robed and the services tend to use the more traditional forms.

You will be sure of a warm welcome when you come to Stanton Church. Our church warden is Alex Brooks and she would be happy to speak with you.

Ensuring that the ministry of the church continues in Stanton and that the fabric of our ancient church is properly maintained, requires funds. Currently we need in the order of  £16,000 per annum to pay our clergy, maintain the fabric of the church and churchyard and open the church for our regular services as well as weddings, baptisms and funerals. The greater part of our income comes from the generosity of those people (including many who are not regular church-goers) who pledge regular payments to the church in our `Promise Programme` which we run every 4 years.
