Benefice of Keyworth, Stanton and Bunny

St Mary Magdalene, Keyworth

Our church community welcomes you to our church.
This is a friendly, busy Church with Christian services throughout the year.   Situated in the centre of the village at the  village square, the Church is open most weeks on  Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am until noon for you to look round, sit quietly or indulge in some peaceful prayer.  Events and services can be seen on the benefice calendar.  There are a variety of interesting activities within our church life in which you can join,  including singing in the choir, bell ringing and the Mother's Union - click here for details about them all.  (Or you can rent our church hall for your own activities!).  For directions on how to find the church click here.
Our church wardens are Mrs Carol McMuury and Mr Bill Cooper  and they would be happy to speak with you.

Eucharist at 10.30 on Sundays, Thursdays and some holy days.
On the third and fifth Sundays each month, and for our Patronal Festivals, we all join together for a Benefice Service.
Check our calendar to see where this will be.

Each year the cost of running our work here in Keyworth amounts to between £90,000 and £100,000 of which about 30% is required to maintain our Church building and Parochial Hall, the rest provides for work undertaken by our Clergy, Readers and Lay volunteers to provide the Christian spiritual leadership and mission across our community. The vast majority of these funds, in fact about 80%, is provided by the members of our congregation, mostly by generous regular donations. The balance comes from Wedding and Funeral fees, Parish Events such as the Annual Autumn Fair, ad hoc donations and Church Hall lettings.  For details about ways of giving to the church click the image.
