Benefice of Keyworth, Stanton and Bunny

Visitor information

WELCOME. If you click on any event on our calendar  it will give you details about the event and a map to help you find the location.   For directions and postcodes for all our churches, click here.
The core of our congregations have worshipped together for many years but people of any age are very welcome at all our churches. The style of service varies but most  is modern in language and traditional in style.  Incense is occasionally used at celebratory services (details in the events calendar).    Our children's and youth activities are organised together with a group of other churches from various denominations, hence there are no specific Sunday schools or creches operated within church services.  However families are valued within our congregations and the two larger churches, St Mary Magdalene (Keyworth) and St Mary the Virgin (Bunny) have areas equipped  for childen's play.  Everybody can stay and chat over tea/coffee and biscuits served after all the Sunday  mid-morning services.

On the First Sunday of each month there is a Cafe Style non-eucharistic service at St Mary the Virgin, Bunny. On the second Sunday of each month there is Muddy Church, outside, at All Saints, Stanton on the Wolds.

All are welcome whether they are well established on their journey to faith (in any Christian denomination) or wondering where/whether to begin or somewhere in between.  At communion services anyone who receives communion within their own church is welcome to receive the bread and wine.  Our ministers are happy to chat about any questions you may have. If you would rather look on the Web, Baron Williams ( a previous Archbishop of Canterbury) has written about Being a Christian, or you might like to read from our Diocese's webpage  Exploring faith, or What it means to be a Christian.
