House of Bishops backs phased approach to revising access to church buildings
The Church of England has published advice on the use of Church Buildings as national restrictions are eased. Find the House of Bishops' statement here. As the first stage in this Bishop Paul has said that clergy in this diocese may return to saying their daily prayers in church from 10th May, and services may be streamed from church buildings starting on Sunday,  17th May.


University of Nottingham Free Online Adult Education programme for Coronavirus Emergency begins 21 April
In response to the coronavirus emergency, the University of Nottingham has organised an Adult Education programme online of over thirty one-hour online sessions on a range of topics, commencing on Tuesday 21 April. We're very grateful to Bill Cooper who has given this wooden processional cross to St Mary Magdalene for use during Lent. It's in church now, but we wait until next Lent for it to be put to full use.
